The unilite is a simple to use, 'what you see is what you get' continuous light which is great for shooting almost any product, especially those which may be affected from heat such as food or flowers.
The unilite can also be used for portraiture photography too as cool-running lamp allows you to work and light closer to your model than with hot and uncomfortable tungsten lights.
The unilite uses a single fluoresent lamp housed in a softbox which also has a removable fabric diffuser.
