At an outdoor shoot my GM500 felt down and landen on it's reflector.
The reflector was destroyed, but the flash unit seemed still working.
I just tested this flash indoor, but the modeling light does not work anymore (even after replacing the bulb).
Probably just a loose contact.
I have some understanding of electronics and will try to open the flash unit to see if I can repair it myself.
Is there anything I should be aware of before opening the flash unit?
I will put out the flash tube first (so It won't get broken too).
Is there any repair book or manual available, so I know in what order I should take it apart?
