Would love to see an affordable Bron ParaFB made by Bowens. Have been wanting one of these for a while, but the price of the Bron is prohibitive Sad

I'm sure Bowens could treat their customers and get a few of these on shelves at a reasonable price. I've only seen one other manufacturer in the US that makes a similar parabolic, so there is definately a market in the UK.

Thanks for your message. We actually used to manufacture and sell something very similar to the Bron Para FB Umbrellas, they were called a 'Jumbrella'. I'm not entirely sure why but we stopped manufacturing these some years ago now, they were designed by the same person who designed the Wafer range of softboxes we sell; Gary Regester. He still continues to make and sell these 'Jumbrellas' in the States, i believe he ships to this part of the world so may be worth looking at his website for further details.

Nice to hear from you again. I use a couple of Wafers and they are great boxes and have seen the Jumbrella. But the Bron Para's give a distinctive light and catchlight that cannot be acheived with anything else. Is there any chance of getting one into development?

I found one third party manufacturer a few months ago which made something very similar; however, they refused to ship outside the US. Nothing else in the UK as far as I'm aware.
